I am considered by some to be a dangerous man. Thomas Edward Lawrence has said, “All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.” I am a dreamer of the day. I chase my dreams, catching up to them one at a time, I hit them over the head with a stick and beat them ‘til they like it. It's a blast.
At one point in my life I had to make a choice about my career. I chose my dream. Why not? What is wrong with chasing a dream? Nothing, as long as it makes sense to you. Who cares what others think. Is it their dream? No, it is yours; CHASE AFTER IT!
I am finally realizing a dream of mine. Over three years ago I set out on a mission. A mission to secure a dream, and I am beginning to see that dream...I am living it! What a joy.
Has it been easy? Has it always been a joy? Not at all. There have been some extremely rough times. It has taken persistence beyond what I knew I possessed. And it has taken an equal amount of patience, but it is coming to light, and what better feeling can you have than fresh from the dryer towels? ...no wait...what? no, that's not it! The troubles and difficulties and hardships along the way are what make the fruition so rewarding and enjoyable. To work through trials and come out on top, that provides a feeling way better than any warm towel!
